The camp is so quiet, and yet so much is happening.
Today began like any other, but things very quickly took a turn as two events broke our routine and changed everything about the life we have known so far on Planet Thraxxon.
I have been asked to report on the recent events I have witness during the CC batch of experiments at Facility D-8-G0:1. This communique shall be considered my official statement on this matter.
There is someone watching us. As our celebration at surviving the scapeback attack was winding down, we spotted a figure to the far west of our camp.
Orvar’s explosions awoke another native species of Thraxxon. These beasts were not like the others we have encountered, not even the Thraxxians. These monsters were called scapebacks – lowland scapebacks to be exact.
I haven’t logged details on Orvar yet, so it makes sense to do so now. He is a Saucerian from Jettron 66.
We have made contact with another native species. Thankfully, this time it has gone much better than our encounters with the Thraxxians.
I will follow up my log entry on Vellok with one on his wife, Uularia. That seems appropriate since the two of them are pretty much inseparable, and I can’t imagine OxKrewe without both of their guiding hands at the helm.
It has come to my attention that I should log information on the 6 members of the crew who survived the crash. This information could prove useful in the future should AEXOR3 decide to review the details of our current situation. I’ll start with Vellok.
It’s been awhile since I’ve made a new log entry, but there is a good reason - we finally made native contact.
We were able to get part of the navigation rig working today. It only lasted a short time, but it was long enough for Uularia to get a sense of where we may be – a remote planet deep in the Fourth called Thraxxon.
This is the first entry in our logs since we crashed. As the communications officer for the Qorgonox, it has fallen upon me as part of my official duties to record the events of our time here on this planet while also continuing to send distress signals hoping to facilitate a rescue.
