Demistros - Special projects action figure from Four Horsemen Studios

The box text for this figure read: "Four Horsemen Studios are proud to have been a part of Power-Con since the beginning. For 2023, our studio is excited to have been asked to create a special release for the show – the demonic warlord known as Demistros! This figure is not a tribute to any existing character. Instead, this villain was created in the spirit of the action figure toy lines that so many of us remember from our youth. Whatever world Demistros may exist in, you can guarantee he is working to overthrow it, just as you can rest assured that there are heroic champions ready to thwart his evil plans!"

As stated in the above text, Demistros is an original creation made specifically for Power-Con 2023 in Columbus, OH. The character was meant to be able to sit at the same table as toy line villains from the the properties we grew up with, but he was not meant to be a direct homage to any of those villanous characters. Demistros was our first ever "show figure" that used Legions parts, without being branded as part of the Legions lines. He displays perfectly well alongside Mythic Legions, but the packaging for Demistros, both the Power-con version and the standard edtiion, include a "Demistros" logo on the front of the box. 

The show version of Demistros included a second head, and a pair of hands, in green translucent plastic to show Demistros "powering up." That version came in a deluxe box with the Power-con logo. The standard version of this figure that was released later was on the normal Legions-style package and it did not include this extra pieces.
