Initially focused on the interests and safety of any who make their living on the waters of Mythoss, the Captains of the Seafarers League long ago discovered that intimidation, extortion, and in some cases outright theft paid much better than offering protection. In time, the League became the biggest threat on the seas of Mythoss, and avoiding their ships and the payments they demanded if they caught a vessel became a way of life for every other ship that sailed from the various ports of Mythoss.
