For the third year in a row, Four Horsemen Studios has revealed a new Figura Obscura figure to ring in the holiday season! This year’s addition is none other than the most famous of Charles Dickens’ ghosts – the spirt of the man who, in life, was known as Jacob Marley!
Teased with a image of chains and spectral mist on 12/1, the figure was fully revealed, and put up for sale, starting at 9am EST on the morning of December 2nd, 2023. Taken from the pages of Dickens’ classic holiday tale of haunting and redemption, “A Christmas Carol”, this latest Figura Obscura release recreates the chain-dragging spirt of Ebenezer Scrooge’s former partner!
The Ghost of Jacob Marley figure is filled with brand new pieces created specifically for this release, including a myriad of cashboxes, ledgers, keys, and even a full safe which this damnable spirit drags around along with his many chains as a reminder of the wasteful life he has lived.
Like all Figura Obscura releases, the Ghost of Jacob Marley comes in premium packaging featuring brand new artwork from Nate Baertsch, along with a mini-comic of that art along with the first chapter, or “Stave 1”, of the story.
In addition to the new Figura Obscura action figure, Four Horsemen Studios is also offering a number of additional items featuring this same theme, including handcrafted metal fireside mugs, enamel pins, greeting cards, and t-shirts.
