Biography

Sir Galeron has long been known as one of Sir Gideon Heavenbrand’s most noble and heroic allies, but the connection between these two knights of Eathyron goes much deeper than the leader of the Order knows.

During the troubled reign of Sir Gideon Heavensbrand’s father, Sir Gabriel, the kingdom of Eathyross fell into disgrace as its king suffered from a strange affliction. While power-hungry politicians sought to further their own ambitions during this period, the young Sir Gideon and his sister Gwendolyn worked hard to protect the borders of Eathyross. Called away from the Crowned City during these campaigns, they were not aware that another Heavensbrand was born during this time, a child that was named Galeron.

Fearing that others would seek to use this child as a tool in their own machinations, King Gabriel and his Queen kept the birth a secret. They had Galeron moved to a small estate they maintained in the countryside of Eathyross where he worked as a farmhand and was raised by the estate’s staff.

After King Gabriel’s condition worsened, the Queen began to spend more and more of her time at their countryside estate, and when Gabriel succumbed to the strange malady that had long plagued him, she left the palace at the Crowned City for good, retiring once and for all to the countryside estate.

Shortly after the King’s death, his widowed Queen told Galeron of his true lineage. Embracing his mother for the first time in his life, Galeron made her swear to keep the secret safe from others, including Gideon and Gwendolyn. After the promise was made, Galeron traveled to the Crowned City and eventually became a knight of Eathyross.

Sir Gideon’s reign has ushered in a golden age for the Order, and the pious Heavensbrand siblings have chosen to show mercy to those who once sought to corrupt the kingdom for their own gains. Sir Galeron is not so forgiving. As a spearman and standard-bearer for the Order, there are few more devoted to the Realm’s protection than Sir Galeron, but he also secretly carries out a second mission - to hunt down and destroy those whom he believes poisoned his father and caused his death. While Sir Galeron is proud of his lineage and wishes more than anything to claim the name of Heavensbrand as his own, he refuses to sully his family’s legacy with the dark deeds he does in his unquenchable thirst for revenge. He fights beside his older brother and sister and shares in their mission, even if he cannot yet share in their name.
